Our Story
Our Story

Studio 3 Dance Workshop began in 1985 with just a handful of pupils and is now one of the leading dance schools in the area, offering classes for all ages from 2 years to adult in a variety of styles for those wishing to make a career in dance or those just wishing to dance for fun.

Pupils get many opportunities to perform their work in front of an audience - at School summer fetes/ fundraisers, community events, and are regularly involved in pantomime and other productions at our local theatre. We also hold our Annual show 'Dance Krazy' at The Royal Hall in Harrogate every February. These shows have gained a large following and are extremely popular, raising money for charity each year.

Studio 3 prides itself on the high standard of its teaching and this is reflected in the high examination marks gained in examinations in all styles with both the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association. Several pupils have gone on to make dance their career and have been successful in applying to study dance further at various universities and dance colleges - SLP, Elmhurst, The Royal Ballet School, Performers College and Bird College.

Our popular pre-school classes begin from the age of two with our Little Ballerinas, Mini movers and Pre-school Ballet and Tap.  This is incorporated with story telling, make-believe and lots of fun! Our thrice yearly fairy school workshops with crafts, dancing and story telling are also very popular.

Fully qualified CRB checked staff.

We also have classes suitable for Adults.
